I've been naturally looking for progeny of BARELY A MOMENT and now have this 2yo colt on offer, a big strong type similar to our guy and from a very good family indeed.
He's an early August foal which means he has an increased chance of going early, out of a RORY'S JESTER mare who's become a terrific broodmare sire. There's a plethora of very good horses in the family most who won at 2.
John McArdle will be training the colt at Mornington, John's a terrific trainer and a great communicator.

You'll remember from last year my notes that:
- Barely A Moment was a 3 time Group 1 winner winning the VRC Sires Produce, the MRC Invitation Stakes, & the MRC Toorak Hcp.
- His record should have been even better with any luck being beaten by Alinghi in the Ascot Vales Stakes at Flemington otherwise he wins and also running 2nd behind Econsul who was a ‘fluker’ at long odds in the MRC Caulfield Guineas at Group 1.
- Barely A Moment was clearly a very tough horse and one of great ability based on the above and the fact that he almost had to be put down the night of the Sires with colic. For a horse to get so sick and bounce back to do what he did after that is an amazing feat and testimony to his toughness.

By Dehere the same sire as the exciting sprinter and Caulfield 1100 metre record holder in Here de Angels. He reminded me of him as a yearling except this colt is stronger.
